1. Research involves reading and searching for information.  Two important strategies are skimming and scanning.  

Watch the video to understand how to skim and scan for information.

2. Practice skimming and scanning as you complete the Research Skills Bingo Card below.  Research the answers and fill in the blanks.  When you get a line with five numbers in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row you win and you can move on to step 3.

3. Read the rest of this assignment!  You have work to do after you turn it in!

4. Submit your assignment.

5. Open the Learnics App..  

6.Review your data and answer the questions in the Post-Assignment Questions section using your data. 

1. How many google searches did you do? 
2. Which Bingo questions required the most google searches to find an answer. Why?
3. Which site (besides Google) did you use the most?  Try looking at the time you spend on each site.  Why?

7. Create and submit your bibliography from within the Learnics App.
